Mike Ficalora

For more than 40 years, Mike Ficalora has made the impossible possible in fine metal artisanship. His creations spanning furniture, lighting, architecture, and sculpture reside internationally in private homes, civic buildings, and museums.

Trained in jewelry making under master silversmith Hans Christensen and working as a 20-something blacksmith apprentice to sculptor Albert Paley, Mike was drawn to the beauty in detail and the highest level craftsmanship; a signature that over time scaled up from rings and brooches to grand railings, flagship retail fixtures and prominent architectural metalworks.

Today FICALORA embodies Mike’s decades of experience and love for metalwork in a dedicated artisan shop.  We specialize in the creation and fabrication of heirloom-quality lighting and furniture collections for some of today’s most renowned brands and designers.
